Our Process
How Marble Cleaning, Sealing & Restoration Works with ASA Tiling

Call or send an enquiry with a few photos and rough sizes.

Site visit to measure up, check the substrate and talk through tiles and finishes.

Written quote with the scope, materials and a start date.

Preparation: strip-out, screeding, waterproofing or repairs as required.

How often should marble be sealed?
Most marble and natural stone should be re-sealed every one to three years depending on use, the sealer and how the surface is cleaned. A simple water test shows when it is time.
Can etch marks and dull spots be removed?
Yes. Etching from acidic spills is honed out and the surface re-polished to match the surrounding stone.
What cleaners are safe for marble?
Use pH-neutral stone cleaners only. Vinegar, bleach and most bathroom sprays are acidic or alkaline and will etch marble over time.
