How Screeding Services Works with ASA Tiling

Call or send an enquiry with a few photos and rough sizes.

Site visit to measure up, check the substrate and talk through tiles and finishes.

Written quote with the scope, materials and a start date.

Preparation: strip-out, screeding, waterproofing or repairs as required.

Installation by the ASA Tiling team, with the site tidied at the end of each day.

Why does a shower floor need screeding?
The screed creates the fall so water runs to the drain instead of pooling. Without correct falls, water sits on the tiles and finds its way into grout and joints.
How long does screed take to dry before tiling?
A sand-and-cement screed usually needs several days to cure before waterproofing and tiling; self-levelling compounds are faster. We allow for drying time in the schedule.
Can you level a timber floor for tiles?
Yes. We assess the floor, add sheeting or a levelling compound as needed, and prepare it so the tiles have a stable base.
